Our Standard Tatami Floor Frame helps to create a space within a room boasting a functional tatami area. These floor frames are multifunctional and may be used for meditation, yoga, a sitting area, or sleeping if a futon is added. The Tatami Floor Frames are made of solid wood that complements our standard Tatami Mats (35 ½ inches by 71 inches) (item #9018, sold separately). Each frame set comes with side rails, corner and side connectors which allows for construction to desired size area. This frame provides protection for the edges of Tatami Mats and prevents from shifting. These are available in Dark Walnut or Natural Finish.
